Monaro Community Sport Scores Vital Funds

Sporting organisations in Monaro have shared in $4.49 million following the awarding of grants in the NSW Government's Local Sport Grant Program.
The program provides grants for minor facility upgrades, new equipment and programs that support and encourage participation in sport and active recreating in NSW.
Grants up to $20,000 were available, with a total of $48,130 allocated across Monaro. The successful clubs:
- BellaMonaro Women's Football Club, who were awarded $10,000 for their Women's & Girl's summer Skills Academy
- Berridale Whitetails Cricket Club, with $20,000 allocated for the upgrade of their training nets.
- Jindabyne Snow Dragons, who were allocated $4,130 for their Snowy Dragons New Paddler Programs.
- Monaro Equestrian Association Inc, who have been awarded $14,000 for upgrades to their show jumps trailer
