It will accommodate approximately 20 staff.
The parling will housing operational vehicles, Skidoos, boat trailers, and all-terrain vehicles used in search and rescue.
The district receives support from visiting officers during winter to provide policing services when more than one million visitors visit during snow season.
The project, announced by the former Government is today being delivered by the NSW Labor Government and represents a significant commitment to boosting community safety and police resources in the Alpine region.
On top of this, the NSW Government is investing in frontline policing and committing to getting more boots on the ground by paying recruits to train and study at the Goulburn Police Academy.

"This new station is a major boost to frontline policing and community safety across the Jindabyne region.
"I'm 100% committed to rebuilding and supporting the NSW Police Force. This includes ensuring they have the resources and modern facilities they need to do their jobs safely and effectively.
"This Government is getting more boots on the ground across NSW. We're paying recruits to study and already we've seen a surge in applications to join the NSW Police Force."
Member for Monaro Steve Whan said:
"The new Jindabyne Police Station is a significant investment in our region. It shows the NSW Government is serious about supporting the people who live, work in and visit this beautiful region.
"We know that tourism has soared by 20 percent in recent years and will continue to grow. This Police Station gives our hard-working police the resources and facility they need to serve and protect our community.
"The new police station is already a landmark in Jindabyne. I'm glad to see it's an alpine building for the Alpine community."
